This painting was inspired by my visit to the breathtaking waters of Hellfire Bay, Cape Le Grand National Park, WA. I was captivated by the luminous turquoise sea meeting the soft white sand, a coastline that felt almost unreal in its beauty. Through flowing layers of colour and texture, I wanted to capture the gentle movement of the waves and the serenity I felt standing there, surrounded by one of Australia’s most stunning coastal landscapes.
